How to work with the full moon energy- Full moon in Virgo on 18 March 2022

Full moons are periods of heightened energies. So, it is a time of high emotions but also increased intuition. This is why I harness the energy during this period. The next full moon is in Virgo and the sun is in Pisces. Virgo energy is about practicality, managing the day to day in our lives and taking action in the material world.

While Pisces energy is about divinity and spiritual tools and aspects. So, the full moon on 18 March is about bringing the spiritual love and aspect into the day to day actions and finding the balance between the two. A good example of this is bringing your spirituality or connectedness with your guides into a daily disciplined practice to enhance your connection and bring more peace to your day to day.

Due to the high energies, it's important to be mindful of what your body is absorbing, not just in terms of food and drink, but information too. So, what are you watching or reading? Is it negative or positive? The energy of the content will contribute to your vibration in those moments very easily.

Also, it is the end of the zodiac year. In the northern hemisphere, Spring is to follow, while in the Southern hemisphere, Autumn is around the corner. As one prepares for the change in seasons, it's a shift in energies too, so letting go of one cycle to enter the next can be prepared for. This can be done by letting go. I use many techniques during the full moon. Sometimes I use all or just one or two, depending on what I flow into. Today, I am sharing these with you.

I always use my oracle cards, crystals, smudge or palo santo sticks and candles. You can light candles to set the mood, play some high-frequency healing music without lyrics, cleanse your space, and write all feelings on a piece of paper...let it flow. No corrections, judgement or even full sentences, just whatever comes. Then, burn it to release it to the universe. Following this, I write a few things that I am grateful for, including myself. I then pull an oracle card for guidance on the full moon.

Meditation is another tool that can be used. Sometimes, I use guided meditation, but most times, I sit quietly where I focus on my breath and then connect to my guides. This is when I ask any questions if need be. I sit with a crystal during the meditation. I have crystals all over my home, so I invite the moon into my house to cleanse all of them. Or you can take your crystals to a window or outside and leave them in the full moonlight.

You can have a full moon bath. This is not something that I do often. It entails laying outside or by a huge window and allowing yourself to be covered by the moonlight, just like suntanning. Or you can moon gaze- I love this: just standing by the window admiring the majestic full moon.

Recently, I learned about moon water. Here you can take any bottle, fill it with drinking water and leave it by the window where it is exposed to the moon. Set the intention for the moon to fill it with high vibrations and then drink it the next day. After all, our bodies are around 70% of water, so this will help elevate your vibration.

If you can, a good bath soak in special salts, aromatherapy oils and candles are extremely advisable. If you don't have a bathtub to soak in, then take some aromatherapy oils, mix them with Himalayan salts and apply them to your body while taking a shower. Set the intention to transmute all lower vibrations into higher frequencies.

I am sure there are many more ways to work with the full moon. Always choose what resonates with you and flow with that. Sending you a big virtual hug and lots of love for this full moon.
