We are all living in the matrix. Or on Mother Earth where we have chosen to be to have this human experience. This life will go by so quickly, so we need to make the most of it by choosing our experiences.
What if the external environment and the people around you are a reflection of the inner you? What if you consciously or unconsciously choose your experiences? Or attract the people and experiences into your life?
Your greatest power is free will. However, unconsciously you are driven by beliefs and values. Some of these beliefs and values no longer serve you, for example, I shouldn't have said that! I am so stupid. These thoughts come from a limiting belief of not being enough. So, how do you shift this?
I have broken it into steps:
1. Awareness of thoughts and behavioural patterns- awareness comes from being mindful.
2. Full acceptance and self-forgiveness for these thoughts and behavioural patterns- ho'oponopono works well for self-forgiveness: "I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you."
3. Replacing the limiting thoughts with new thoughts- affirmations are good repetitive "mantras" to create new thought patterns. If you would like to go into it deeper, you can ask where this thought is coming from- from which belief or value? Is it true? Does it serve you for your highest good?
4. This will allow you to make new choices, which creates new experiences leading to new feelings and emotions.
The responsibility begins with you. It will take a structured disciplined approach which will lead to gradual change so be compassionate and patient with yourself. It has taken you your entire life to live in your current values and beliefs, so it will take time to transform them! Sending you a big virtual hug. You are a divine light of love, so keep going.
